Welcome to Sri Lanka! After clearing Customs and Immigration make your way through the terminal. Our local representative will greet you at the ‘meeting point’ at the exit and transfer you comfortably to your hotel in Kandy check in the stay.
In the afternoon do a city tour of Kandy – the last capital of the Sri Lankan Kings. The name Kandy conjures visions of a storied past, splendour, legend, folklore, mystery and traditions lovingly kept alive for countless years. Visit the Kandy Bazaar / market, a Gem museum and a lapidary. Also, visit the Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya, which were originally the pleasure gardens of the Royalty. Nearly 4000 species of plants are found in this garden and it is encircled by the Mahaweli River. In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and thereafter witness a cultural show in Kandy.
Enjoy the remainder of the evening at leisure exploring the sights and sounds of Kandy.

After breakfast proceed to Nuwara Eliya, enroute visiting a tea plantation and a factory. Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country producing 50% of the world’s best tea. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 ft) is located here. Nuwara Eliya is the location for one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in Asia. Check in at your hotel. After breakfast visit Sita Eliya and thereafter proceed to Hambantota/Kataragama. Enroute do a Safari of the Yala National park by Jeep. Yala is the largest national park in Sri Lanka and is the home of wild elephants, wild boar, wild buffalo, leopard, bear, deer and crocodiles. you can also see large flocks of migratory and indigenous birds. Enjoy your stay at your hotel in Hambantota / Kataragama.

After breakfast proceed to Galle and do a city tour of Galle, one time chief port of Ceylon. Galle is famous for handmade lace, tortoise shell curios and ebony elephants. Also, visit the 90 acre Galle fort, which was originally founded by the Portuguese and later extended by the Dutch in 1663. The fort houses many important Dutch buildings including a Dutch period museum. Thereafter proceed to Bentota. Enroute turtle hatchery operated by the wild life protection society of Sri Lanka. Several species of turtle, especially the hawksbill, are endangered; most vulnerable of all are their eggs; which are left uncovered on beaches all around the coast. the goodwill of kosgoda area fishermen, who bring these eggs gratis to the hatchery, has led to the hatching and release of 100,000 young turtles in only two years since the hatchery opened. Check in at your hotel in Bentota for overnight stay.

Breakfast at hotel. Morning at leisure on the beach. In the evening proceed to Colombo and check in at your hotel. In the evening do a city / shopping tour observing the old parliament, the residential areas and the BMICH (Bandaranaike memorial international conference hall) and visit fort.
